Ajay Devgn’s latest action thriller, Singham Again, has reached a significant milestone at the box office, collecting Rs 13.50 crores on its fifth day. Directed by Rohit Shetty, this film is the newest addition to the cop universe and features an ensemble cast, with a special cameo by Salman Khan as Chulbul Pandey. While Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, has earned Rs 237 globally, the Anees Bazmee directorial has earned over Rs 130 crore.
Singham Again VS Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 box office
As reported by Sacnilk, Singham Again’s total worldwide collection has reached approximately Rs 210 crores over four days. Although the film has emerged as the second-highest weekend opener at the box office, it faces fierce competition from Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which has also been performing well despite a slight dip in collections. The Ajay Devgn starrer collected Rs 13.50 crores on Tuesday, taking the film’s domestic collection to Rs 154 crores.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 earned around Rs 13 crores on its fifth day, slightly down from its first Monday’s earnings of Rs 19 crores. The horror-comedy has grossed Rs 187.75 crores globally, with an overseas collection of Rs 39 crores, showcasing impressive resilience at the box office. Kartik Aaryan-Vidya Balan’s film has earned Rs 138 crore in India.
Both films catered to large audiences, with Singham Again screening in over 5,200 shows nationwide on its fifth day. Meanwhile, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, made on a budget of Rs 150 crores, has already recouped over 75% of its production costs.
Kartik Aaryan at Ganga Aarti
In a celebratory gesture following Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s success, Kartik Aaryan, alongside producer Bhushan Kumar from T-Series, participated in Ganga Aarti in Varanasi on Tuesday evening, highlighting the film’s positive reception.
As this box office clash continues, both Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 are set to define the festive season’s cinematic landscape, showcasing the Indian audience’s diverse preferences for action and horror-comedy genres.
